Getting young girls involved in cheerleading will benefit them in many ways. There are the physical benefits,
as well as educational, mental and emotional benefits. Getting young girls involved at an early age teaches
important life values such as dedication, teamwork and preparation
Cheerleading involves various activities that require a high skill level in a combination of areas such as
tumbling, dance, stunts and jumps.
Cheerleading requires hard work, dedication and practice that will carry over to the classroom and help
young girls stay focused in school. Girls that get involved with cheerleading early may be better prepared
for each new level of school, as well as other areas in life.
Cheerleading helps boost self-esteem in young girls as they cheer their team to victory.
It also helps them gain confidence by staying healthy and physically fit. Cheerleading promotes
