Also, don’t miss out on an opportunity to also be a part of the Mustangs’ brand new 7 on 7 Flag Football Program. This new program is open to all boys and girls ages 8 to 18, including those registered in our tackle program. This fun, no contact, program offers kids the opportunity to play flag football with and against their friends and call the shots themselves as they run the show. The kids get to set up their own teams and call their own plays. While we ask that a parent coordinator be identified to receive information from the League, the kids are their own coaches. Our goal is to give them the opportunity to play as close to a pick-up game as possible, the way we did when we were their age.

Registration for the 7 on 7 Flag Football Program can only be done in person. Teams register as a group by submitting a completed roster and all supporting forms, including a copy of each player’s birth certificate, a signed waiver and their registration fee. The next set of registration dates for the 7 on 7 Flag Football Program are Friday, April 20 from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm and Saturday, April 21, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at the Mustang Equipment Building located in the back of John Burns Park. The forms needed to register are attached to this email, or can be printed off of the Mustangs website.

2012 SEASON TACKLE REGISTRATION DATES

The dates for in person registration, which will be held on the 2nd level of the Massapequa Mustangs Equipment Building, located in the rear of John J Burns Park are as follows;

Friday March 23rd - 7pm to 9pm

Saturday March 24th - 10am to 2pm

Friday April 20th - 7pm to 9pm

Saturday April 21st - 10am to 2pm

Friday May 18th - 7pm to 9pm

Saturday May 19th - 10am to 2pm

Cost for registration this season is as follows for both in person and online;

Flag Football (Ages 5 and 6) - $75.00

Tackle Football (Ages 7 - 13)

Early Registration Discount (If Registered before April 30th) - $125.00

Registration (May 1st and May 31st) - $150.00

Late Registration (June 1st to July 31st) - $175.00

There is a family cap of $300.00 if you have more than 2 children to register.
